[75], Mutombo is a longtime supporter of Special Olympics and is currently a member of the Special Olympics International Board of Directors, as well as a Global Ambassador. Growing to 7 feet 2 inches, though, Mutombo thrived in a different arena, but it hasn’t stopped him from helping those in need. On September 11, 2015, he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
